Week 13 starts off with a pivotal NFC East clash between two teams that are looking from the outside looking in for a playoff spot. The Dallas Cowboys are currently sitting at 5-6 and have lost 3 straight games while the Redskins are 5-6 and recently won their last game against the Giants. This game will bury the losing team’s chances of making the playoffs and will keep the winning team’s playoff hopes alive. A very big tilt tonight and makes one breaks the season of these two teams.

1. Cowboys Run Game

If there’s one thing needs to improve with the Cowboys, it has to be the run game. The Cowboys simply haven’t run the ball efficiently enough without Zeke ans even with all-pro left tackle Tyron Smith. Things won’t get an easier as they face a Redskins defense that ranks 15th in rushing yards per game allowed (111.8). If the run game doesn’t perform better, Prescott will be under fire all game long.

2. Dak Prescott

Prescott has thrown 7 interceptions in the last 3 games and really needs to stop turning the ball over in order to have any shot at winning this game. He has also only thrown 1 TD pass and has only managed to score 22 points in those three contests. He’ll be facing a defense that ranks 19th in passing yards per game allowed (234.4). If Prescott doesn’t win this game, there will be serious consideration for a benching.

3. Kirk Cousins

Kirk Cousins is coming off a solid performance in which he threw for 242 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 interception. Now he will be facing a Dallas defense that allowed more than 400 passing yards against Philip Rivers and now ranks 21st in passing yards per game (235.7). This defense is in desperate need of motivation especially following their 3-game skid.

Bold Prediction: Kirk Cousins throws for 350 yards and 4 TDs.
