LeBron James with ejected from his game vs the Miami Heat last night. The event occurred after James missed a layup following a steal. James thought he was fouled, and argued with referee Kane Fitzgerald over the no-call. Fitzgerald assessed James with a technical foul and ejected him from the game.
Fitzgerald’s rationale for the ejection goes as follows: “It was a culmination of a couple different acts. Immediately after the no-call, he turned and threw an air punch directly at me, and then he aggressively charged at me, and then he used vulgarity in my ear a few times.”
New York Knicks Center, Enes Kanter, who had issues after James called himself “The King of New York,” had this to say about the incident:
Way to take the high road Enes… real mature.
