Week 12 will be wrapping up with a Monday Night game between the 4-6 Houston Texans and 5-5 Ravens. Both teams are still very much in the AFC playoff hunt and will look to get a win in M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens are coming off a shutout win over the Green Bay Packers while the Texans are coming off a 10 point win against the Arizona Cardinals. Now here’s what to watch for in this AFC matchup.

1. Tom Savage Vs Ravens Defense

Tom Savage is coming off a solid performance against the Arizona Cardinals in which he threw for 230 yards, 2 TDs, and an interception. He’ll face a much tougher challenge in the Baltimore Ravens defense that ranks 2nd in passing yards per game allowed (185.2). This team has also shutout 3 teams this season and will look to make it a 4th Monday Night.

2. Texans Run Game

The Texans suffered a big blow last week when D’Onta Foreman suffered a season-ending injury, so now it’ll be up to Lamar Miller to shoulder the load. The Texans will also lean on the run game as the Ravens defense ranks 26th in rushing yards per game allowed (120.8). It could be a big night for Miller and the other running backs but the Ravens know they need to make the offense one-dimensional by shutting the run game down.

3. Joe Flacco Vs Texans Defense

Joe Flacco is coming off a game in which he threw for less than 200 passing yards, a TD, and an interception against the Packers. He’ll have a better performance against a Texans defense that ranks 26th in passing yards per game allowed (252.8). In a way, this could be considered a bounce back performance against bad Houston pass defense.

Bold Prediction: Joe Flacco throws for 300 yards and 3 TDs.
