Starts of the Week
Mack is slowly making a name for himself in the Colts backfield. He has become a force in the passing game for the Colts and has shown his potential to be a feature back throughout the season. I think that this is the week where the Colts start giving Mack more touches. With Andrew Luck out for the season, the Colts have almost no chance at the playoffs. So why not go with the rookie Mack?
PREDICTION: 40 yards rushing; 50 yards receiving; 1TD
Richardson has been really good since the Seahawks bye week. He has 166 yards and 3 touchdowns in his past two games. Richardson has become an electric wide receiver and a lethal deep threat for the Seahawks. The Redskins defense has been struggling the past few weeks and Richardson has been great. I look for Richardson to torch the weak Redskins secondary.
PREDICTION: 110 yards; 1TD
Sits of the Week
Winston has been one of the most inconsistent quarterbacks this year. In the past 3 weeks, Winston has had 2 games with under 5 points. The alternative to his 5 point games are his games with 300 yards and 3 touchdowns. This inconsistency makes me scared to start Winston unless you are very desperate for a quarterback. Not to mention he is also playing a surprisingly good Saints defense that has been forcing turnovers at a high rate.
PREDICTION: 200 yards; 2 Interceptions; 1 Fumble; 1TD
I just don’t think that Ajayi is ready to take control of a really messy Eagles backfield which features Blount, Smallwood, and Ajayi. The Eagles have already come out and said that Blount will be starting against the Broncos. The Broncos are also a very good defense, holding Kareem hunt to only 46 yards in 22 carries. I think Ajayi will need a week or two before he is worth starting.
PREDICTION: 15 yards rushing
