Sitting at 8-2-0, this 2017-18 Devils team is no fluke. After being stuck in mediocrity since their run to the Stanley Cup Finals in 2012, their combination of youth and raw talent is paying off and Jersey’s team looks primed for a deep playoff run. Rookie Will Butcher (11 assists), first-overall pick Nico Hischier (2 goals, 5 assists), and formerly unknown teenager Jesper Bratt (4g, 6a) are leading the youth movement. Newcomers Brian Gibbons (5g, 2a) and Marcus Johansson (3g, 2a) are also key pieces to this resurgent team. Taylor Hall leads the team in points with 13 (3g, 10a). After a solid 10 game start to the season, the Devils travel to Western Canada for a road trip that will teach us more about this team and if they are here to stay. LETS GO DEVILS!!!
